Lewis County to Test Elections System
Nezperce, ID. – May 6, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., the Lewis County Clerk’s Office will be conducting the
pre-election Public Logic and Accuracy (L&A) test for the upcoming May 19th primary election.
This test involves running a predetermined set of test ballots to ensure that the election
software accurately reads and tabulates votes.
Members of the public, media, and candidates are welcome to attend and observe the L&A test
to confirm the proper functioning of the system ahead of Election Day.
The test will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m., so we kindly request attendees to arrive 5-10 minutes
early.
