Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Idaho Code §67-6512, in accordance with the notice and hearing provisions provided under section 67-6509, Idaho Code, and Lewis County Zoning and Development Ordinance #97-2, that the Lewis County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 at 6:30 pm. at the Lewis County Courthouse, 510 Oak Street, Nezperce, Idaho.  Public comment is being sought on the following:

  • Conditional Use Permit 2025-03: Dean Mosman, Mosman Farmland and Mosman Landholdings LLC have requested a Conditional Use Permit for parcel numbers RP36N01E330102, and RP36N01E330300 approximately 190 acres and 10 acres, respectively, for facilitating a yearly ranch rodeo and music festival that will be held over a period of two days on Goin Rd. and Central Ridge Rd. in Craigmont, Idaho.

Situated in Lewis County, State of Idaho, to wit:

A tract of land, Section Thirty-three (33), Township Thirty-six North (36N), Range One (1) East, Boise Meridian, 190 acres, SENW, NE (Less Tax #C-55) (10AC) Lewis County Idaho.

A tract of land, Section Thirty-three (33), Township Thirty-six North (36N), Range One (1) East, Boise Meridian, 10 acres, 10 AC Tax #C-55.

All site-specific land use requests are to be considered Quasi-Judicial.

All comments verbal and written are welcome. A copy of the application and other items being considered during the Public Hearings are available at the Lewis County Planning and Zoning Office at the Courthouse, 510 Oak Street, Room #1, Nezperce, Idaho. Written Testimony will be allowed if received by 5 p.m. Tuesday September 16th, 2025, in the Planning and Zoning Office. You can email your comments to pz@lewiscountyid.org or mail comments to the Lewis County P & Z office 510 Oak St Rm 1 Nezperce, ID  83543.  Length of oral testimony may be limited to three minutes for each person.
