Notice of Public Hearing - CUP #2025-01

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Idaho Code §67-6512, in accordance with the notice and hearing provisions provided under section 67-6509, Idaho Code, and Lewis County Zoning and Development Ordinance #97-2, that the Lewis County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 7:00 pm. at the Lewis County Courthouse, 510 Oak Street, Nezperce, Idaho.  Public comment is being sought on the following:

  • Conditional Use Permit 2025-01: Jason and Janae Davis have requested a Conditional Use Permit for parcel number RP34N02W085410 approximately 65 acres, to be able to operate a wedding and event venue.  

This parcel is a portion of the W1/2SW1/4 of Section 8, Township 34 North, Range 2 West of the Boise Meridian, Lewis County, Idaho and is more particularly described as follows:

COMMENCING at the southwest corner of said W1/2SW1/4 (the southwest section corner for said Section 8), a found brass cap monument;

THENCE N 00°05’42” E along the west boundary of said W1/2SW1/4 a distance of 933.50 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, a 5/8 x 30 inch rebar set with a plastic cap stamped L.S. 3627;

THENCE N 00°05’42” E along said west boundary a distance of 1721.73 to the northwest corner of said W1/2SW1/4, a 5/8 x 30 inch rebar set with an aluminum cap stamped L.S. 3627;

THENCE N 89°37’45” E along the north boundary of said W1/2SW1/4 a distance of 1320.27 feet to the northeast corner of said W1/2SW1/4, a 5/8 x 30 inch rebar set with a plastic cap stamped L.S. 3627;

THENCE S 00°08’43” W a distance of 2174.59 feet to a 5/8 x 30 inch rebar set with a plastic cap stamped L.S. 3627;

THENCE S 89°01’28” W a distance of 466.75 feet to a 5/8 x 30 inch rebar set with a plastic cap stamped L.S. 3627;

THENCE S 00°08’43” W a distance of 466.75 feet to a point on the south boundary of said W1/2SW1/4, a 5/8 x 30 inch rebar set with a plastic cap stamped L.S. 3627;

THENCE S 89°01’28” W along said south boundary a distance of 384.64 feet to a 5/8 x 30 inch rebar set with a plastic cap stamped L.S. 3627;

THENCE N 00°05’42” E a distance of 933.50 feet to a 5/8 x 30 inch rebar set with a plastic cap stamped L.S. 3627;

THENCE S 89°01”28” W a distance of 466.75 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, said parcel containing 65.193 acres more or less.

All site-specific land use requests are to be considered Quasi-Judicial.

Written Testimony will be allowed if received by 5 p.m. Tuesday February 25th, 2024, in the Planning and Zoning Office.
